Going home to the Philippines

Hi! Hello!! Medyo sad ako ngayon dahil uuwi na kami ng Philippines. Gusto ko pa sana dito hehehehe!!!! Kahit na 1 week lang kami dito ay nagpapasalamat na rin kami sa Philippine Soong Ching ling Foundation and Oishi for making our trip possible and to be part of this festival. It is indeed a rare privilege to be with children from all over the World, but now were saying bye2x huhuhu……. Even if it is my 2nd time in Shanghai, I will really miss this place. In the morning we’re free. We ate our breakfast in the hotel and then take some rest. At l2:00 we ate our lunch. At 2:00 Pm insaktong papunta kami sa airport. WSe need to go there early para ma check in namin ang lahat naming gamit. Paluha kamni ng nag bye2x kina Ms Honey at Ms Jane. Kasabay namin sa airport yong taga Taiwan. Na delayed ang flight kaya 6:30 na kami naka-alis. 8:30 pm kami nakarating sa NAIA. Dahil sa may natira pa kaming yuan, pina exchange namin ito sa airport at nagpapasalamat kami sa nagbigay noon sa Century Park Hotel pa rin kami nanatili. Parang kailan lang ng papunta pa lang kami pero ngayon pauwi na. Hindi na makayanan ang ganoong experience. Talagang nakatatak na iyong sa aming pang-araw araw na gawain.

Ngayong araw na ‘to , uuwi na kaming Pilipinas. Kararating pa lang namin dito, ngayon ay babalik na rin. Sa umaga nag-ayos ako sa aking mga gamit.

We left Holiday Inn at 12:30 pm God bye na! I will surely miss you . 2:00 pm nandoon na kami, sa Airport Hmmmmppp… kailankaya ako makabalik dito? 4:00 pm Paalam na Shanghai. Marami talaga akong dapat pasalamatan sa pagkakapunta namindito. Thank you Mr. Chan for sponsoring our trip to China, not just now but also before. the Philippine Soong Ching Ling Foundation, Thank you. I would also like to thank Ma’am Alma and the rest of the staff for molding us to become better person and for training us since Grade 4. You are one of the most wonderful blessings that God had given to us . thank you choirmates for always been there in times of needs. And most of all thank you God for keeping us company in our journey in life. thank you for everything.

Tumagal ang aming biyahe ng 3 oras. Ay! nakita ko na ang Maynila. Hello! Philippines…. 28 degrees celsius ang tempratura ng Maynila. We went to Century Park Hotel, the hotel I loved Hay! salamat nakarating na rin kami sa Pilipinas nang ligtas.

Closing Ceremony

I woke up late because we do’t have schedule in the morning. Nanood lang ako nga TV. whole morning but before that we ate first our breakfast. At exactly 12:20 pm umalis kami sa hotel, papunta kami sa Shanghai Science and Technology Museum . 2nd time ko na doon pero sila first time pa lang. Nong nakarating na kami doon may nakkita kaming dalawang boto ng malalaking dinosaur. After that we go around. Nasaksihan namin ang mga high tech na mga bagay. Talqagang nakakamangha. Wala iyan lahat sa Pilipinas kaya sinusulit namin ang aming panahon doon. pagkatapos niyanay bumalik kami sa hotel to take rest. Pagkatapos niyan ay pumunta kami sa Era para manood nga Closing Ceremony ng Festival at Circus. Nang matapos na ang closing Ceremony, sumunod agad ang circus at ito ay mapapamangha ka talaga. Grabe!!! Napapawow talaga kaming lahat. Pagkatapus ay bumalik kami sa hotel ng naka smile. Masayang masaya kami. At naglipat kami ng aming mga gamit para sa bukas na flight. huhuhu!!!

End of Festival

This day we will be closing the festival. Ang dali lang talaga ng araw! Matagal akong gumising dahil vacant kami sa umaga. We started to fix our things rading for tomorrow’s travel papauwi na naman ng Pilipinas. Napakabilis talaga ng araw.

In the afternoon, we went to shanghai Science and Technology Museum. We saw dinosaur fossil. In that Museum I learned many things. I was amazed !

In th eevening, we had the closing ceremony of the festival. We watched the different presentations of the children all over the world. We also watched ERA. Yeah! it’s true “You Miss Shanghai if you will miss ERA” The Circus/show was absolutely breathe-taking. Even though it was already late at night, hindi talaga ako dinalaw ng antok sa panonood ng ERA.

Old Shanghai

Apple and I woke up at 5:00 pm. then had breakfast at 6:30. Pumunta kami sa Yu Garden (Old shanghai). Ang init talaga doon. The show started at 9:30 and ended at 11:00. After the shownag shopping kami . Mahal ng bilihin nila doon. We had our lunch after shopping and then shopping again. Nabigla lang akong may nag-interview sa”kin. hehehehe!!!! Nag sight seeing kami. Pagkatapos magshoping and then shopping again the Carrefour. We buy some chocolates para pasalubong. After that we had our dinner in the hote and take a rest.. hahaha!!!

Old Shanghai

August 1, ‘07 at 7:50 am we left the Hotel. We arrived 8:30 am in the Yu garden (Old shanghai) their place was nice. 9:30 was the start of the show. We were the second group to perform. We sang “Sound of Music”. We gave our best but the music can’t be heard well. The show ended at 11:00 am. After the show we went shopping. We went to Shanghai Classical Hotel to have our lunch. At 12:50 pm we went to Jiangnan Silk Market. I was impressed in their products. We were able to see how to make cocoon into silk. 1:30 pm we had sight-seeing into the Yu Garden, although it’s hot, it was great because we were able to judge th ehold shanghai. 3:00 pm we went to Carrefoud to have our shopping . I did not waste my money. It was a nice shopping together with my choirmates. At 6:00 pm we had our dinner at the Hotel. At that night, I made my assignments Ate Jane helped me make my asisgnments. I feel so special when she started to make a research for me . We shared our unforgettable moments. I thanked god for sending Ate Jane to us.

Children’s Palace

Apple and I woke up at 5:00 am. Hay! Kapoy pa!!! hehehe… After we fixed our selves, bumaba na kami at kumain ng breakfast. Pumunta kami sa room ni Ma’am Alma para mag vocalize. After that we went to the bus. Papunta kami sa Children’s Palace. Excited ako kasi 2nd time ko na doon . Masayang masaya talaga kami pagdating doon. The show started at 10:00 am and ended at 12:00 non. Marami ang nagperform doon. Isa na kami We had our lunch in the 3rd floor of the Children’s Palace. Mraami kaming nakilalang mga bata. Nagbigayan kami ng kanya kanyang souvenirs After that nag laro kami sa kabilang building. Nakakamangha talaga ang kanilang mga activities doon. Hindi lang siya basta basta . Makakalinang talaga ng isip. May matutunan ka talaga. Sayang nga lang, kaunti lang ang oras namin. Bumalik kami sa hotel pagkalapos. Nagpahinga kami ng ilang minuto at bumaba uli’t para kumain ng dinner. After we ate, kumanta kami ng ilang kanta para sa mga staff doon. Nasiyahan namansila. After we perform nag sight-seeing kami sa Pearl Tower. 2nd time na namin doon. I was so happy then. We take some pictures for remembrance and then bumalik kami sa Hotel mga 8:30 at nanood ng tv at nagpahinga na….

Children’s International Forum

Nagising ako ng maaga with tension kasi ang araw na ito magaganap ang Children’s International Forum. Talagang kabado ako ng todo. We ate our breakfast at the hotel. Later on pumunta kami sa Shanghai Science and Technology Museum.Doon makikita mo ang maraming bata na nagrerepresent sa kani-kanilang bansa. We”re three in our group, Feby, Christian and me. I was the speaker then. Hindi talaga biro ang makasama sa ganoong International Forum. May nakilala ako, siya ay galing sa Italy. Nagkwentuhan kami ng kwentuhan hangang sa nagsimula na ang forum. I was so nervous then. In the forum, may nakita kaming bigating tao na Presidente ng kompanya. Mabuti nga at mabuti kong nabigkas ang aking speech. After the forum, we take pictures with the other participants. then go back to the hotel and ate our lunch. Later on, umalis na naman kami para manood ng show. “Choon Hyang” -True Love ang title. We’re very impressed. Ang galing talaga nila sa pag arte. After that nagpractice kami for next day’s performance and then we ate our dinner in the hotel. Hindi ko talaga makakalimutan ang ganoong experience na ako ang speaker at representative ng Pilipinas.

Shanghai Grand Theater

I woke up at 6:00 am. Then I took a bath. Excited na excited ako dahil first day namin. We ate our breakfast in the hotel and then we went to Ma’am Alma’s room to have a meeting. Later on we had a mass with Father Val . Nakita namin sina Sir Carlson, Tito Ino, at marami pang iba . Nanalangin kami na sana successful ang aming performance . Later on nagpalit na kami ng costume at nag make-up. Nag lunch kami sa hotel. We went to Shanghai Grand Theater after we ate our lunch. Handang handa na talaga kami. We had a run through with other children from all over the World, and it’s our pleasure to meet all of them. Ang galing galing talaga nila. After the practice we had our dinner. Later on, handa na ang lahat para sa show. pang 20 pa kami. Nasa harapan kami nakaupo kaya claring claro ang nagpaperform. Masayang masaya kami dahil nasaksihan namin ang ibat-ibang kultura. After the successful performance we take pictures in the stage and then og back to the holtel with a smile. Hay!!! Mabuti nga at isa lang ang aming kinanta. Pagdating namin sa room nagpahinga na kami para sa bukas.

Rehearsals

It was a lovely day. 8:00 am - 8:30 am we had our breakfast in the lst floor of Holiday Inn. After eating we had our meting at Ma’m Taldo’s room No. 537 . In this day we will perform in the opening ceremony of the festival. 9:15 am we fixed our hair 10:00 am when I went out of my room I was astonished because I saw Fr. Val, Mr. Carlos Chan, Sir Ino, together with the Bolanons. I did not expect that they were here in Shanghai too. We had our mass in Ma’m Taldo’s room. The celebrant was Fr.Val. It was a solemn mass. We ask guidance to God in whatever we’ll do here in Shanghai. After the mass we changed our costumes. 11:30 am we had our lunch till 11:55 am. We left Hotel at 12:00 noon. We arrived in
Shanghai Grand Theatre at 1:00 pm . We met different faces from the different parts of the World, 2:00 pm -5:00 pm we had runthrough (w/costume) the rehearsal was very enjoyable. 5:00 pm we had our dinner. 7:30 pm the opening show started. We did our best in the performance. It was a successful opening show . 10:00 pm. - 11:00 pm we went back to Hotel. I was very sleepy after the show.
